James Warbrittan of Greencastle, Ind formerly a teacher, yesterday was returned to the Indiana Reformatory, Jeffersonville, from Bismarck, ND by Frank B. Paschal, an instructor in the school of letters as a parole violator. While in the Reformatory Warbrittan acted as an instructor. Prof. RB von KleinSmid believed the prisoner had reformed. The parole was granted April 13, 1914. He had been out only a short time until he became delinquent in his reports and it was announced he had forged a check where he was employed. He was traced to Bismarck. Warbrittan was received at the Indaina Reformatory Dec 24, 1912 from Putnam County to serve from one to five years under a conviction on a charge of uttering a fraudulent check. – transcribed by kbz
